This raid will be the raid to end all raids for TDZ. Roughly 15 heads will be present to take on Heroic Las Vegas.

We'll have people from Canadia and Japan, as well as mainland US, participating.

It's going to be nuts. It's going to be crazy. It's going to be AWESOME.

After a night of heavy drunken debauchery, Shan and Angos will probably both wake up married.. and not to each other. Quix may find himself on top of a roof, throwing mattresses down to signal for help. Camford may find himself locked in a trunk only to realize that he is completely naked when released by strangers, one of which he throws a crowbar and hits on the face, for a crit headshot.

Wait that's the plot for a movie..

    Heroic Vegas!

Before we invade we need to talk strategy about taking down the Sphearmint Rhino encounter.

This is a 3 phase fight with multiple abilities at play.

Phase 1 - Boss casts distraction, shake, and flash.

Wowhead is recommending casting flash cash repeatedly during this phase in order to lure the boss closer in order to start phase 2. Also, note that in Heroic mode it is possible to take on more then one boss at a time.

Phase 2 - Boss casts gold farm.

Counter-intuitively the only way to win and start phase 3, is to allow the spell to land then immediately cast open wallet. You will take a -20 hit to your bank, but if you come prepared this will not be a problem. Wowhead recommends extensive gold hoarding before beginning the encounter.

Phase 3 - Boss casts bump and grind followed by mind control.

It is possible for the boss to take complete control during this phase. You need to remain strong. Shaman have been known to drop their totem, warriors go into blood lust, and hunters talk about how much they like kitties. Wowhead recommends popping all of your personal cool downs at this point.

If you follow the guide you should emerge victorious. Note however, this boss only drops blue loot, typically balls.

We should definitely check this place out while we're there. They used to only have one in Phoenix, but now there's one in Las Vegas.

It's so bad for you that someone actually had a stroke while eating there.

I think I'm going to carry a backpack full of booze while we cruise the strip. You can have open containers of booze while in a car so long as the driver is not drinking while in the strip in Las Vegas.

Just got back from the drive back to Southern CA from Las Vegas. I can definitely feel the effects of the past weekend's festivities catching up on my body.

But man, oh man, was it an awesome time. I had such a great time finally meeting everyone in this close knit raid.

Just wanted to put that out there. As I write this, thinking back to the crazy memories that we all made together - memories that will definitely be talked about amongst ourselves for quite some time, I'm sure - I find myself missing you all already.

    Is this strange?

After sleeping for 12 hours and recovering from the effects of a total of 12 ours sleep over three nights, I can say this was an incredible experience. It was awesome to meet everyone in the raid and others who came in from Japan. For a first Vegas experience, this was epic. I am afraid I wiped to the Spearmint Rhino boss though....

On that note, has anyone seen my wallet?

Cheers all and a big shout out to Angos for getting the ball rolling on this!!

I feel jet lagged and I didn't even travel that far!

Vegas was truly epic. Amazing time. Everyone was so great. I still feel like I owe Shan money or shots or a new car or 16 bottles of Vodka or something.

Highlights - Blackjack with everyone, Limo, Rhino..., Sleepy strippers, Beatles, Why would you want to go there?, How much are drinks?, Ron's scenarios, Team Japan, Team Canada, The Party Pit, Free T-shirt!, You should have kids!, etc.

Everyone was awesome! Thanks Angos for putting it together.
