I'm not sure if our healers and tanks have a set rotation already for the Impales, but in order to reduce (nullify) damage taken, the paladins in the group can set up a BoP and Bubble rotation. Each platform takes approximately 2.5 minutes, so the time between 2 platforms is large enough for the CD for both Bubble and BoP to come off.
Example Rotation:
Tank 1- Esp
Tank 2- Mag
3 Pally Healers (Comadore, Vain, Burrito)
Platform 1:
Impale 1 - Esp - Bubbles (Should be up for 3rd platform)
Impale 2 - Mag - Vain BoP's
Platform 1:
Impale 1 - Esp - Esp BoP's self
Impale 2 - Mag - Burrito' BoP's
Platform 3:
Impale 1 - Esp - Bubbles (Bubble should be up again for Elementium Terrors)
Impale 2 - Mag - Comadore BoP's
Platform 4:
Impale 1 - Esp - BoP's self
Impale 2 - Mag - Vain BoP's
This way, there is 0 damage taken during Impales, and about a 3s loss of DPS from a tank in any given impale (once they click off the Buff, or cancelaura).
